Systems Engineer III

The Systems Engineer position is responsible for the Engineering, Implementation, and support of the Security infrastructure. This position will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure and business projects on time, on budget, and meet all business and technical requirements. Some of the job duties will be performing analysis on Intrusion detection logs, Firewall logs and IIS logs for any vulnerability. Make sure Internet Infrastructure servers are operating in a stable and reliable manner, create standards, policies, procedures relating to use of Extranet environments by end users, developers and administrators. Interface with service providers, vendors and study industry publications for best practices.

Job Requirements
-Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience required. 5-7 years in System Engineering.
-Hands-on experience with the following security technologies and products: Internet Security Systems, Checkpoint, Juniper, RSA, Bluecoat, Anti-virus/Anti-Spam, Vulnerability scanners etc
-Co-ordinate and plan small to medium size implementation projects
Strong communication, time management, problem solving and decision making skills
-Security certifications (CISSP)are desirable
-Candidates must be able to be on-call and work flexible hours.
-Ability to identify and implement process improvements to support efficient project delivery as well as availability goals and project management is a plus.
-Expert knowledge of multiple platforms, operating systems and network protocols and relational database concepts.
