We currently have the following opportunity available at our Merrimack Corporate Headquarters.

 

Server Systems Engineer

The Server Systems Engineer is the technical administrator for the company?s in-house databases. Will be responsible for the Mail Database administration, maintenance, upgrades and security.  Will also support existing servers and implement new servers and databases.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience through on-the-job training. Must have at least 3 years supporting Lotus Notes, MS SQL database on Intel-based environments and Oracle database administration in a HP-UX environment.  Must be willing to be on-call to provide off-hours support. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate technical concepts to non-technical personnel. Requires logical analysis for problem determination.  Experience with iSeries helpful.
