Specializing in OpenView, VMWARE, Veritas and Oracle Solutions, we provide the next generation of  UNIX, LINUX, WINTEL and OVMS network servers as well as Enterprise SAN and NAS storage.

 

Job Description:

Candidate will have a strong background in SAN administration in a large multi-platform environment. This includes installing, configuring, provisioning and maintaining storage area networks, storage related software, monitoring storage platforms as well as related systems. Entrepreneurial attitude: treats his job as his ?business,? takes superb care of customers, focuses on revenue generation. Independent go-getter: proactive, takes initiative, works well without supervision, identifies problems and solutions and takes action before issues arise, takes responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES/POSITION FUNCTIONS:
? Implementation of Enterprise Storage solutions
? Infrastructure design (backup, network, storage)
? Experience with Multiple Tape Technologies
? Strong understanding of Windows 2000 (Windows 2003 Server OS knowledge a plus)
? Strong Hardware Skills
? Some UNIX experience
? Database knowledge a plus (SQL / Exchange / Oracle)

REQUIREMENTS:
? Minimum 4 years experience supporting Windows server
? Minimum 2 years experience supporting Server Technologies

? Candidate must also have advanced knowledge HP Enterprise Storage and Servers,

  Storage Software.

? Some UNIX skills (HP-UX and Linux) as well as working Windows knowledge a plus.

? Good understanding of Networking Infrastructure (TCP/IP ports, DNS, WAN,)
? Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
? Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in preparing reports, presentations and documentation.
