Title: Systems Engineer/Technical Support

Position Type:  Contract 

Duration: 5 months plus ext.

Location:  Lakeland, FL  (local candidates highly preferred)

Start Date:  August 14th 2006

 

Skills Required:

General Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP technical skills

 

Special Qualifications:

Must be able to support technicians in the field with various technical support issues over the phone. 
Must be very even-tempered in stressful situations and have a good speaking voice.

 

Work Description:

The contractor will be assisting with the rollout of Windows ATM's, upgrading NCR kiosks to Windows XP, replacing Windows workstations in the store, and upgrading some Windows servers in the stores.  In order to learn the environment and the various system configurations, this person will have to learn our Retail system build process before supporting any remote installations.
