Systems Engineer in Phoenix

Skyline Advanced Technology Services, a Cisco Systems Silver partner for Cisco hardware sales, Professional Services Partner and a Cisco Learning Partner (CLP) is looking for a Systems Engineer to perform pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support in Phoenix, AZ. Skyline-ATS has developed a solid reputation for high-quality training, consulting and hardware sales, throughout the IT Industry.  Our customer base includes Cisco Systems, numerous VARs, and many Fortune 500 corporations.

 

Working with our customers will require significant experience in Cisco routing and switching as well as a broad knowledge of the Cisco product line and available solutions.  Additional emphasis on security, wireless, and/or VoIP is preferred.  You would need to reside in or near the Phoenix, AZ area and travel will be required.

 

The successful candidate for this position must have the following:Hold current CCNA or CCDA certification.Proficiency at switching, routing.Be able to provide an end-to-end design for small to enterprise environments including IP architecture and configuration of equipment and proposed solutions.Competency and experience with IP technologies, general networking, Cisco IOS, CatOS, QoS, VoIP, WAN connectivity (PPP, Frame, ATM, etc.).Troubleshooting experience with debug, sniffers, etc.

 

One or more of the following skill sets is highly desirable:Experience with Call Manager, Unity, and E911 services.Experience with wireless technologies (WLSE, WAPs, Bridges, WCS, etc.).Competency and experience with security technologies such as:  VPN, RADIUS/TACACS, PKI, Firewalls, Encryption - 3DES, AES, IPSec, SSL, etc.
