Systems Integrator - Human Resources

QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to 4 years of experience in systems analysis or design, testing and implementation of computer-based information systems. A Bachelor?s degree in computer science or a related field and four (4) or more years of directly related HRIS experience is preferred. Must have general knowledge of report writer applications and knowledge of the SQL language, with ability to write SQL queries and create custom reports from SQL server data. Advanced skill in working with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and advanced skill with Microsoft Windows XP and WIndows Server 2003. Advanced level skill with Microsoft Excel, experience with document management and applications, scanning documents for imaging or document management is also required. Must also have advanced level skill in Microsoft NT and related Office software programs - Access, Front Page, Adobe Acrobat and safeguards and security procedures. Must be adept at utilizing programming languages to troubleshoot and revise software application to meet the specific business needs of Human Resources department. Strong background with development/implementation/management of an HRIS system and ability to lead new application implementation project is essential.

Plans, designs, develops, implements and maintains the HRIS systems, which includes, but is not limited to, networking infrastructure, servers, HRIS applications, staff workstations, wireless network for public customers, public workstations, scheduling software, and third-party public printing/copying solutions. Provides the ?day-to-day? administration and maintenance of Human Resources systems. Selects, installs, tests and maintains network-based Human Resources applications. Maintains Human Resources network security. Assists leadership with the evaluation, acquisition and installation of hardware, software and communications packages to meet specific Human Resources business needs. Assists in system analysis, computer configuration, and planning and training of employees on the department?s automated systems to ensure optimal performance of the systems. Researches, tests and evaluates new software applications and upgrades of existing applications. Implements the installation and upgrades to the systems. Assists in providing technical direction and support, including budget projections, for the department in determining current and future software and hardware needs. Sets up and maintains document management and systems workflow, provides complex reporting, develops workflow processes, manuals, and training regarding HR systems, work with the Human Resources staff to assist with additions/changes to develop and maintain HRIS systems. Evaluates and analyzes Human Resources processes, procedures, and workflow to determine the feasibility of different technology options and solutions to meet HR requirements. Resolves operational problems for users in the HR department. Manages the day-to-day administration, use and integrity of the HRIS database and assists in workflow automation initiatives. Proactively identifies and creates reports and queries for management to meet ever-changing business needs. Researches, tests and evaluates new software applications and upgrades of existing applications. Implements the installation and upgrades to the systems. Designs and develops the department?s webpages.
