Senior Network Engineer:

 

Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday


This position requires expert level engineering and architectural skills required with enterprise-wide technology initiatives related to Microsoft infrastructure. BS and a minimum of 5 years experience preferred.  Adequate work experience with fulfill requirement. Demonstrated expertise with Windows 2000/2003 Active directory: (GPO, OU, user accounts, etc), WINS, IIS and DNS.

 

Must be proficient with Windows Server 2000 & 2003. Must have thorough understanding of Exchange Server 2003, OWA, and ActiveSync technologies. Design and implement supporting Microsoft infrastructures at the operating system level as well as provide the server hardware support. Clustering and virtualization technologies highly desired. Experience in design/implementation of Citrix solutions in enterprise environments a plus. Experience with Unix and solid understanding of networking fundamentals. Must be experienced with MS patch deployment and SMS. 

 

This position requires a skill set capable of advanced design, implementation, and support of operations and integrity for computing systems (servers, network) including their use and management of their intricacies.  The primary responsibility of this job is the planning, engineering, implementation, and support of a large healthcare enterprise network infrastructure that provides medical records, business and financial services.

 

The ISD team members are tasked with aligning the IT Strategic plan with organization business initiatives. It is the responsibility of this role to comply and document IT defined processes. Analytical skills for advanced troubleshooting and root cause identification are required.
