Systems Programmer 3

Modis is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following contract position:

 



?  Describe the Environment:

? The contractor would become part of the IT Open Systems Database Design and Support team

? The contractor engagement would assist in the design and development of Systems Management and Support processes to support the deployment of SQL Server 2005, Analysis Services 2005, Reporting Services 2005 and Informatica V8. 

 

?  Describe the basic tasks of this engagement:

? Work with other team members to design Systems Management and Support processes through integration of tools and development of code to support the deployment of SQL Server 2005, Analysis Services 2005, Reporting Services 2005 and Informatica V8.

? Develop code in Perl, SQLCMD, WMI to be executed across numerous servers with standard builds.

? Develop code utilizing standard APIs and processes to integrate standard products, such as EMC Storage, Marimba, TSM, Cybermation, Remedy, Management Console, etc.

? Develop code to extract meta data from components (SQL Server 2005, Analysis Services 2005, Reporting Services 2005 and Informatica) for inventory, trending, proactive monitoring, and to support operational processes.
