Define, Implement, and audits the organizations security procedures.

 

Researches suspected intrusions utilizing an IDS reporting system, and provide fixes, work-flow process, and guidance for eliminating false positives.

 

Works as part of a team or individually as needed, and requires strong written communications skills, limited travel might be required.

 

Oral, written and visual communication with all levels and disciplines are required.

 

Strong presentation skills and reporting skills are required.

 

Logical thinking and creativity are required.

 

Strong attention to detail and follow-through is required.

 

Being highly organized and detail oriented is required.

 

Knowledge of UNIX systems, specifically Sun Solaris

 

Knowledge of Microsoft systems and software

 

Knowledge of security practices and system vulnerabilities

 

Being a team player is required.

 

3-5 years related experience is required.

 

Four-year college degree is preferred.

 

Strong initiative in developing/describing recommendations and the values or risk involved in each.
