General Dynamics Information Technology has an opening for a Systems Security Officer in Arlington, Virginia. The candidate must provide technical support for secure software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards. Based on a review of current information security policy, doctrine and regulations, provide recommendations for consolidating or developing information security policy and procedures at the National Agency Policy (or program) level. Applies knowledge of current information security policy at the national information security structure, roles of major organization how they interrelate and interact, and shortcomings in this structure. Reviews and recommends information security solutions to customer problems based on an understanding of how products and services interrelate and support the information security mission and the viewpoints of the consumers of those products and services. Analyzes and recommends resolution of information security problems based on knowledge of the major information security products and services, an understanding of their limitation and a working knowledge of the disciplines of information. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, U.S. Citizenship is required.
