Systems Support Analyst (FY07-109)

Job Description:

 

Provide support to primarily manufacturing and quality systems user communities: set up and maintain standard business software applications and custom modifications, resolve applications issues, conduct application training, support development of related SOP?s, support business software systems validation in a 21CFR ? GMP environment .Provide business analyst support for existing applications and ongoing maintenance advice to system owners . Coordinate project activities with business owners, business partners, internal/external project team members and outside consultants. Provide business requirement and technical assistance to less experienced project members. Consult as the subject matter expert on systems and business processes within functional area. Support development of related business processes and SOP?s including creation and maintenance of appropriate documentation. Support business software systems testing and maintenance including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, business ethics, legal, and FDA GxP validation where appropriate. Support non-manufacturing business system needs as required. Coordinate business activities with colleagues and peers in all Alkermes facilities as required. Coordinate system support and application needs for Inventory, Production, Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Costing, and other Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments. Support key initiatives for improving or establishing processes and systems for improvements to various Manufacturing and enterprise systems. Support Oracle E-Business Suite Projects, including future release upgrades from 11.5.9. Support the deployment of a CMMS/Preventative Maintenance System. Support the deployment of a Bar Code System. Support the deployment of an Advanced Planning and Scheduling System.

 

Job Requirements:

 

4 year college degree in Management, Accounting, Computer Science, or related area. At least 3 years experience in a related discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.) At least 3 years business software implementation experience. Software implementation/support experience with one or more application solutions: ERP, MRP, WMS, Bar Coding, Calibration Management. PL/SQL programming.  Knowledge of manufacturing operations, materials management, warehousing, procurement, manufacturing accounting, and logistics.  Experience with Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (11i) is a plus. Experience within pharmaceutical/biotech industry is a plus. Well organized and able to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.  Demonstrated business analysis skills.  Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently.  Self starter / self motivated. Proactive.
