Systems and Security IT Engineer - DoD Top Secret Clearance Required

Role This position will provide IT support to our government programs. An ideal candidate will be a self starter, customer service oriented, adaptable, great communicator, and have a desire to learn and implement information technology systems in a group experiencing rapid growth.

The candidate will:
* Support multiple classified government projects in compartmentalized environments
* Support of Windows desktops and servers
* Support of Linux servers and desktop
* Support of Cisco network infrastructure
* Identity management via Active Directory and NIS
* Ensure compliance with security requirements
* Seek ares of opportunity for automation and process improvement
* Provide top quality customer support
* Provide regular written and oral reports
* Implement security measures in support of Defense Industrial Security Program and DCID 6/3

Skills/Experience
***** Candidate MUST have a Top Secret clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation(SSBI) and meet DCID 6/4 eligibility requirements. Candidates without this requirement should not apply. *****

Three to five years of hands on experience in an enterprise IT environment that built solid skills in:

* Windows systems administration
* Active Directory 2003 administration
* Exchange Server administration
* Microsoft SQL Server administration
* Linux systems administration
* Cisco network administration
* Backup, printing, virus scan solutions
* Clearcase and Perforce SCM software solutions

Desired IT Certifications:
* MCSA or MCSE
* CCNA or CCIE
* RHCT or RHCE
* CISSP

Additional Skills
* Must be detail oriented to work in classified environment
* Must be able to interact with Engineering Leads and Engineers in meetings and individually for planning on-going support.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS, and/or equivalent experience. * @cb
