Summary

 

This position is responsible for the design and operation of all Windows related computing systems and ensuring the availability of all computing systems services for Forum office. This person will be responsible for carrying out technical design, installation and maintenance of system and telecom software & hardware.

 

Responsibilities

 

?  Responsible for installation and software version control on all Forum servers.

?  Participate in computing architecture design

?  Setup and operation of continuing improvement programs.

?  Assembles and configures server components and associated services.

?  Sets up and maintains basic system operations, including assembly of system hardware, and provides assistance to the AICPA system administrator.

?  Performs system troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems.

?  Upgrades system hardware and software components as required.

?  Installs, upgrades and configures system printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services.

?  Provides Forum users with system technical support.

?  Establishes system users, user environments, directories, and security for systems being installed.

?  Installs and tests necessary software and hardware.

?  Maintains Forum telecom infrastructure

?  Maintains Forum network infrastructure

 

Experience

 

?  Bachelor?s degree or related experience in Information Systems

?  5 or more years technical work experience with Computing Systems & Infrastructure design and implementation.

?  Knowledge of and experience in WWW server setup and configuration.

?  Microsoft MCSE with Win2000 required

?  Cisco CCNA certification preferred

?  Ability to work independently

?  Knowledge of PBX desirable

?  Strong technical and troubleshooting skills

?  Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

?  In-depth experience with Compaq servers

?  Experience with WINS, DHCP, and DNS environments

?  In-depth knowledge of the client-server environment, project management, and information systems development.

?  Strong Knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching Technologies
