TECHNICAL SERVICES ANALYST III
We have a permanent position open for a Technical Services Analyst III in central North Carolina.
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements more complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements.
Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Makes more complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation.
May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. Responsibilities include evaluation, installation and maintenance of software related to the middleware environment.
Will perform system software maintenance and upgrades. Completes system research and design, including research of new products, enhancements to existing systems and design of product implementations.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a competent communicator, both verbally and written Ability to drive project deliverables and provide support to diverse tasks 2-3 years experience with the following software products: Webspher Application Server, Websphere Portal Server, Websphere Business Integrator, web server administration (HTTP servers), MQSeries Ability to research utilizing the Internet, vendors, publications, trade shows and seminars Ability to work with others on an implementation plan and schedule Project management skills Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete assigned work
Desired:
IBM WAS on AIX and Windows (z/OS would be a plus), including Network Deployment. Using the Deployment manager to administer multiple nodes in a cell WAS clustering and workload management experience is preferred WAS configurations including JMS Resources, WAS data sources, and JNDI J2EE Components, Architecture, and Specification SDLC (and major variations) IBM WPS Portal Virtual Hosts including VMWare WSAD/RAD Some DB2/UDB administrative experience SSL & Certificate Management LDAP concepts, functions, and protocols Specific LDAP Servers (Active Directory a plus) SSO, LTPA and other security tokens TCP/IP and HTTP IBM Tivoli Access Manager (Tivoli Identity Manager is a plus) MQ Series & MQ Clusters IHS (and other HTTP servers) supporting multiple back-end Application servers simultaneously MQ Workflow Configuration (FDL and LDAPBridge would be a plus) WSCP and other WebSphere scripting ANT & J2EE Project Builds PVCS usage and administration is a plus UNIX/AIX administration is a plus Windows Servers administration is a plus Web Services concepts and usage Familiarity with firewalls, routers, proxy servers, DNS, and other network components Ability and experience with understanding and using WAS and other logs as a primary troubleshooting tool Knowledge of software integration methods and support functions and provides guidance on integration including operational support guidance Knowledge and understanding of the principles of capacity planning and performance management in a complex environment and provides capacity and performance review support
