Tactical Systems Division - Communications Systems - Network Management Software Development

Support all lifecycle phases of software development for network management applications.Network management applications include network planning, network configuration, network monitoring, and network maintenance. Most networks involve Department of Defense networks and equipment.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:





Able to communicate effectively with customers and clearly present technical approaches and findings.


Complete understanding of engineering/scientific principles, concepts and techniques gained through extensive study and experience.


Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex engineering/scientific tasks and develop innovative solutions.


Interacts with senior staff and customers on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.


Interfaces with the customer to determine needs and communicate progress.


May lead certain aspects of a task or project.


May lead specialized experiments, studies, and analysis.


Most assignments are complex and performed independently with little instruction.


Performs complex engineering/scientific tasks.


Performs entire analysis for assigned engineering/scientific problems.


Provides training and mentoring to more junior staff members.


Recommends approaches for new or improved processes.


Represents the organization through individual contact and formal presentations.


Stays abreast of technical documents and reports.


Work will typically involve carrying out a range of assignments directly affecting an organization’s results.


Works with broad objectives and has the latitude to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.


Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 - 11 years experience.
