Defining the future. Join the men and women of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in meeting the largest, most complex systems challenges imaginable for government, military and business.

Tactical Systems Division / Future Combat System (FCS) Intelligent Munitions System (IMS) - Network Management (NM).

The assignment is in support of the Network Management portion of the IMS. The assignment includes investigation of software reuse from the FCS Network Management System (NMS) capabilities. The task involves development code using the proper syntax of a computer language. The engineer designs and develops software products/systems. The engineer tests and documents software processes.

The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years experience

Position working in UNIX/Linus OS platforms in C/C++, Java, XML/XSL client/server programming enviroment to develop a short-haul radio network management gateway.
Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Experience in system internals and APIs a plus.

Knowledge preferred in designing mobile network-related management applications.

Generated UML using Rational Rose and utilized Clearcase on software development projects.
