TSM Global Support Specialist - Work From Home

*** Long-Term Contract Position - 100% Work From Home

 

We have an immediate need for one Tivoli Storage Manager support specialists to join our team responsible for providing 24/7 support for a global Managed Storage Services client community.

This is an hourly, non-benefited contract (minimum 40 hours per week) paying $19 to $26/hr depending on your work-from-home location.

 

The 24x7 team support hundreds of customers who are located all over the world. We provide support around the clock 365 days a year.  Support includes management of hundreds of ids and passwords.  The primary responsibility of members on this team is steady state support of Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM). There is a rotating shift schedule where our team members change shifts every quarter. Coverage for other team member?s vacation time and sick coverage is also required. 
 

REQUIREMENTS: 

- Must have strong experience with the TSM product family and providing both server and client support.

- Experience with IBM tape libraries is highly desired.

- Operating system knowledge with Windows and UNIX (AIX, Solaris, Linux) is a must.

- Experience with change and problem management systems.

- Must be able to multi-task several problems and customers at one time. 

- Because this is a work from home position, telephone support experience is a must.

- Must hve strong written and spoken communications skills and excellent telephone skills along with a solid focus on customer service.

1. Because this is a work-from-home position, you will need to have access to broadband internet and a 2nd phone line.

2. Accepted candidates will be required to pass criminal background check prior to start.

3. Must be US Citizen.
