TSS Program Business Analyst

** Our client is in need of a TSS Program - Business Analyst, in Jersey City, NJ **

?

Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems.? Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective.? Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. Develops and executes systems testing.? Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.
This resource type provides analytical, technical, business and management expertise to the group and completes assignments which require this expertise.? The resource may be required to lead teams of up to 10 professionals or operations personnel.? This resource will respond and resolve issues beyond standard management requests as well as using independent judgment to make decisions where no clear precedents exist.? This level should typically be used for a senior or lead level resource.

Participate in scheduled related working sessions, Document key activities and meeting notes related to project Develop high level project scoping charter documents
Analyze and create system / process gap analysis, Develop and design data and process flows, etc.
Update project plan and tasks, Document business / functional specifications
Coordinate the LOB participation in Finance testing, Monitor testing activity Escalate issues, risks, and defects.
Ensure LOBs are performing appropriate testing for merger integrations
Assist the LOB with difference research/resolution
Communicate project status as required Work with large group of individuals to accomplish key tasks
Excellent PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Excel skills.? Visio a plus.
Project management, analytical skills, excellent written and communication skills, ability to work independently, ability to meet deadlines, document and understand business data and financial flows
Prior testing experience Prior Project Life Cycle experience Business banking operations knowledge a plus (ACH, DDA, Funds Transfer, Custody, Securities Processing, Cash Management)
Working knowledge of financial architecture data flow a plus.
Prior large consulting firm project experience is a plus.
Financial accounting experience recommended 7 years experience
