Task Area Lead

The Logistics & Engineering Solutions Business Unit currently has an opening for a Task Area Lead at the William J. Hughes FAA Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This candidate provides overall management of personnel working in a technical environment on individual delivery orders. Candidate shall be proficient in Government contract and design standards, planning tools (i.e. work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, critical path analyses, PERT charts, etc.), and report development. Responsibilities also include: Developing and reviewing technical documentation; Managing a team of multi-disciplinary personnel to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software and communications approaches; Providing technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff; Determining methods and procedures to be used on new assignments; and Interacting with senior or executive management on matters concerning several functional areas.

EDUCATION: The individual must have a Master's Degree in an applicable field of study and fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor?s Degree in an applicable field of study and twenty (20) or more years of relevant experience.
