Team Leader - Information Systems User Access

The Edward Jones Information Systems (IS) division is seeking an individual for a Team Leader - Information Systems User Access position that will plan, direct, and manage the activities of a team of associates/contractors responsible for the end user's access to systems and applications.

Responsibilities:
-Manage associates/contractors that provide information system access and monitor activities of administration tools to ensure that appropriate security controls are maintained.
-Assist management in the protection of information system resources and associated assets against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
-Manage associates/contractors that provide 24X7 support to ensure continuous system access availability for the firm.
-Provide research and analysis support to Business and IS units.
-Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships within and across teams, business areas, and vendors.
-Align team activities and responsibilities with the firm's strategic direction.
-Develop and execute on-going improvements to all processes related to team as well as department opportunities.
-Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to associates through examples and timely feedback.

Qualified applicants will have:
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IS experience.
-Five or more years of experience directly related to information systems especially in the area of Client/Server and Mainframe processing, with IS Security experience preferred.
-One or more years of experience in a leadership capacity developing/mentoring associates, lead analysts, project leaders, etc. is preferred.
-Strong understanding of IS processes and business access needs, with an understanding of Role Based Access preferred.
-Strong knowledge of processing and service level agreements.
-Detailed understanding of project management methodologies, system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices and risk management concepts.
-Knowledge of IS Security concepts and methodologies is preferred.
-Excellent ability to lead, mentor, train and develop technical associates.
-Excellent communication, organizational, time and project management skills.
-Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
