Applications Manager – National Teller Systems.  C&SBBT - Channel Solutions is seeking a manager to lead a diverse and dynamic application development team to successfully delivery technology solutions on time and budget. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad business background with proven leadership in a complex application technology environment.  This role is responsible for staffing and performance management and managing development efforts across multiple applications among multiple projects. Responsible for interacting with overall initiative project teams to align resources, provide estimations, coordinate development schedules, and provide status reporting and issues resolution for improve phase.  Candidate will drive collaboration among onshore leads, developers, technical delivery managers (TDMs), technical delivery leads (TDLs), and engineers.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self starter with demonstrated effectiveness in team leadership, who thrives on change and has an orientation of constant improvement. The candidate must have a track record of outstanding teamwork and be comfortable with cross functional partnerships. The candidate will drive performance and results, while constantly raising the bar. 



Required Skills:

3+ years leading software development team(s).  Strong mainframe skills, including IMS online and batch, JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, EzTrieve, Changeman. Understanding of DMAIC and Systems Development Lifecycles.

Strong Decision Making and Critical Thinking Skills. Proven leadership skills, including ability to influence, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Strong planning, organizational, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail.  Ability to drive change with limited noise and to adjust work assignments and plans based on shifting resources and priorities. 

Desired Skills:

7+ years mainframe development to include COBOL, CICS, JCL, and EzTrieve, VSAM, IMS, ChangeMan. Knowledge of Hogan systems a plus; as is any functional knowledge regarding banking center technology. Knowledge of existing Model Bank or CA legacy systems a plus. Experience with Standard Software Process (SSP) models.
