Tech Support Representative: This position is responsible for providing assistance and training to educators over phone and e-mail. Provide online demonstrations to new customers. Aid in the installation and configuration of select software application titles; ex. TAIT, PHGA, Ace Organic, MyMathLab, and MathXL. Accurately assess, evaluate, and record the severity level for each problem detected and reported. Work closely with editorial and sales to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify, define, and accurately document all detected/reported problems, bugs and discrepancies. General Quality Assessment and testing of software. Use Pearson's Customer Relationship Management tool system to track and measure assigned problem cases.

Qualifications: BA/BS required. Ability to project a professional and confident image to educators and internal groups such as editorial, marketing/sales, other Pearson support groups and the product development team. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superb multitasking and follow-up skills. Exceptional problem solving skills. Working knowledge of Windows 98, XP or Windows 2000. Understand of web-based browser technology. Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner. Mathematic skills a plus.
