Learn more about ESRI and our career opportunities and apply online at www.esri.com/careers DepartmentCharlotte Regional OfficeResponsibilitiesMaintain technical skills consistent with the software industry and that contribute directly to the advancement of our clients software investmentsImplement ESRI software and solutions into diverse computer and network environments Develop and design solutions for clients to increase capabilities of their software investmentsPerform in-house and on-site customized training for clients on software applications Provide continual support to clients that have received implementation services Document all work performed at client sites for future reference RequirementsBachelors/Masters degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, or a related field In-depth experience using ESRI software including server products (ArcSDE, ArcIMS, and ArcGIS Server) and client products (ArcInfo, ArcEditor, and ArcView)Minimum of two years of experience working with application development and GISMinimum of one year of programming experience in one or more of the following: VB, C/C++, Java, PL/SQL, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NETExperience with Oracle or other RDBMS, SQL, or PLSQL Ability to travel, both domestically and internationallyRecommended QualificationsExperience with ArcObjects and/or Web development with ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, or ArcSDE and Oracle or SQL Server Prior DBA experience including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and RDBMS diagnostics and troubleshootingExcellent communication, team work, and problem solving skills
