Update Profile

Responsible for defining, building and maintaining architectural solutions within specific domains of the technical architecture. Ensures conformance of deployed technology solutions to defined technical architecture standards and models. Manages evolution of technical architecture to meet anticipated future requirements, thus ensuring that technology capabilities are in place to support long-range application strategies and plans.

Minimum five years of IT experience, focused in assigned area of architectural responsibility.
Broad working knowledge of key technologies within assigned area of responsibility, which may include one or more of the following: networking and telecommunications, IBM mainframe and midrange platforms, Microsoft server platforms, e-mail architectures, directory services, security, brewery technology architectures, and distributor technology architectures.
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with IS teams and customers.
Strong analytical skills and a high achievement and learning orientation.
Continuous development of knowledge related to emerging technologies and industry trends in assigned area of responsibility.
The ability participate in and lead matrixed cross functional team.

Monitor production architectural components
Manage enterprise level architecture projects
Guide use of architecture in the technical design phase of projects; build and extend to fill gaps of current architecture
Create and maintain test environment for architecture components in a given technical area
Ensure technical architecture vitality through proactive alignment with IT Strategic Plan and architecture investment roadmap
Research architectural trends and best practices across all industries; investigate their applicability and feasibility for Miller Brewing
Participate in the development and execution of year to year technology plans
Communicate architecture initiatives to project and support team
Bachelor's Degree Required.
