Technical Customer Support Representative / HTML

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:     One year of customer support experience. Must have a high level of comfort with the Windows operating system (experience with Macintosh OS a plus), be personable and polite to customers under all circumstances. Must be very familiar with hand-coding HTML (not using a WYSIWYG editor) and have a basic knowledge of programming/scripting concepts; JavaScript knowledge a plus. Good time management skills are necessary for this position. Knowledge of both database systems and special education a plus. Ability to provide customer service and perform help desk functions; problem solving skills are essential.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Provides telephone and e-mail technical support to end users of the TIENET education management program with varying technical abilities.

? Customizes TIENET implementations for clients using HTML.

? Consults with other support staff to provide a speedy resolution to customer problems when necessary.

? Tracks and posts all implementation activities and documents to data management systems including QuickBase and internal client relations management system.

? Maintains updated knowledge and ability to use relevant applications (e.g. TIENET and QuickBase)

? Performs other duties as assigned.

? Ensures speedy and accurate responses to customer support questions.

? Customizes TIENET for customers quickly and accurately.

? Participates in regularly scheduled support staff meetings.

? Takes responsibility for completing assignments in a timely fashion.
