Technical Lead

Our client in the marketing industry is seeking a Technical Lead.  This is a permanent position offering an excellent compensation package. 

 

The Technical Lead is responsible for directing custom application development projects, R&D and Product Development efforts.  This particular role will work on Content Management projects for a Pharmaceutical client.  Responsibilities include participation in pre-sales development including scoping, discovery and development.  This individual must have an extensive background in application development with broad experience in development technologies and methodologies

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

* Participate in presales efforts

* Act as primary technical liaison with Application Development and the project teams

* Guide technical direction of the project

* Oversee technical architecture and development for projects

* Work with clients and project team members to develop and document requirements

* Transform requirements in to high level software designs

* Implement systems components or systems using relevant technologies and methodologies ? HTML, CSS, XTML, Documentum and JavaScript

* Participate in project and team meetings

* Develop necessary technical documentation

* Mentor web and software developers

* Work effectively with client support and project team to resolve implementation issues

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

* Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience

* 8+ years of software development experience

* Extensive knowledge of internet application development as well as product development

* Demonstrated ability to lead a technical solution development effort
