Technical Lead/Project Manager

A fast growing multi-location software development company is looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Project Manager with hands-on technical and project management skills. The position is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and may require some domestic and international travels, particularly to our offices in China.

Duties:

? Provide production support for US customers.

? Coordinate and perform software production releases

? Collection of business needs and requirements and subsequently translate them into well orchestrated project plans with detailed technical specifications.

? Act as the liaison between our US-based staff and Shanghai-based offices to coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of software for US financial markets.

? Create product requirements and specifications from high level product ideas and general requirements.

? Can lead a technical conversation and defend technical architecture

? Assists management with evaluation and development of a project plan

? Keeps appropriate people informed of project progress

? Monitors project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members

? Perform analysis of the business requirements needed to transform them into system requirements and designs.

? Create conceptual and functional design specifications and use case models as appropriate for the project in conjunction with technical development.

? Provide subject matter domain expert support throughout the product development lifecycle.

? Communicate information and facilitate the flow of documents between US and China offices.

? Support QA testing by participating in unit and integration testing

? Write and review test scripts and participate in formal QA testing as needed.

Requirements:

? More than 5 years work experience in software development lifecycle and methodology, past experience as software developer.

? Must have demonstrable experience in business analysis or project management.

? Hands-on expertise in ASP.NET(VB.NET) and XML

? Hands-on expertise in T-SQL using either MS SQL Server 2000 or MS SQL 2005, stored procedure development, queries and data modeling
