Technical Manager for Application Development
American Imaging Management, Inc., is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for Application Development with a strong background managing complex web application development projects. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to work with business analysts, developers, and management to define, design, develop and guide implementation of innovative Web applications utilized by industry leading clients.
Experience and Skills:
8+ years of overall IT/software development experience with demonstrated progressive growth in a variety of system engineering and software architecture tasks including design, development, implementation, and integration of large-scale enterprise systems of a highly complex nature
.NET platform including ASP.NET, C# and related tools or 5+ years experience of hands-on web development on Java, J2ee/EJB, JSP/ Servlets
Relational database expertise, i.e., Sybase, Oracle DBMS, SQL server
Infrastructure engineering and/or architecture experience
Must be able to create technical design documents
Must be able to direct other employees in a team-oriented, deadline-focused development environment.
Strong communication, written and influencing skills with both functional and IT management
Serve in a project leader capacity for significant portions of multiple projects; effectively produce deliverables and coach/develop staff
Prior experience as the lead technical authority for the design and development of the software
Have ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, show initiative and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated client relationship management skills.
History of estimating project timelines, managing deliverables, delegating tasks, and hitting key project milestones.
