Technical Marketing Engineer
Kforce is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer. A fast-paced semiconductor start-up is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer to support their flagship product, the Field Programmable Object Array (FPOA). This position, which reports directly to the VP of Marketing, will be responsible for technical presentations, field sales, customer training, technical documentation, competitive analysis, and technical market segment analysis. The position will be chartered with understanding the technical requirements of customers and working closely with engineering to develop the product road-map. Responsibilities also include writing technical documentation and web pages, authoring industry articles, developing and delivering presentations, sales training, and developing and negotiating relationships. This position provides almost unlimited variety and an opportunity to get on board early with a young, high-tech company.
Candidates must possess a BSEE (MBA or MSEE preferred) with 4 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry. Excellent written and oral communications skills with understanding of design tools and methodology are required. This position requires the ability to understand solution advantages in a given market segment and effectively communicate this information through various channels. The position also requires detailed competitive analysis skills, including the ability to look beyond today's products and discern what will be required to compete in the future. The ideal candidate must be a team player and a quick learner.
