Technical Operations Engineer I

mindSHIFT is hiring Customer Care Operations Staff to support our wide client base in our Virginia Call Center and to help us continue our impressive growth rate.  We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and people skills, raw talent, and a love of technology. mindSHIFT Technologies is a Managed Services Provider (MSP) that offers computer systems management services to clients throughout the United States. Clients are small and mid-sized professional service firms with significant technology needs. mindSHIFT works closely with clients to address all technology issues and ensure that client organizations use technology to be leaders in their fields.

Customer Care Operations Staff provide technical support to a demanding and diverse range of customers from different industries. Individuals should have a technically strong, team-oriented approach to support Microsoft Software products, industry standard workstation and server hardware, 3rd party vendor software applications, Virtual Private Networks and Active Directory administration. Troubleshooting skills must be excellent. Patience to work with customers real-time over the phone and through remote desktop tools is required.

Ideal Qualifications:
?Minimum experience 2 years working on a technical help desk or equivalent experience in supporting large customer base (over 150 users) - Legal help desk experience is a plus.
?Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 a must and also excellent working knowledge of Active Directory

?Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000/2002(XP) suite of products ? MOUS Certification preferred but not required.

?Microsoft Certification a plus
?Must have at least two years of experience in software and hardware troubleshooting on laptops, desktops, servers and networking equipment.


Job includes required rotational 24-hour pager support of customers for which compensation is provided.
