Technical Sales Consultant

We are the preferred solution provider for our customers? technology lifecycle needs.  We are currently searching for a Technical Sales Consultant to join our Columbus, Ohio team.   

Qualified candidates should have demonstrated superior experience opening and growing services business in customer accounts;  demonstrated ability to analyze customer business needs/issues and develop feasible solution plans consisting of services drawn from various SARCOM practice areas; ability to work with SARCOM account managers in a supportive and mentoring capacity to extend and deepen service placement in existing SARCOM customer accounts; ability to provide business-level leadership for solution delivery teams consisting of members with a variety of skill levels and backgrounds; demonstrated expert knowledge of the Distributed Computing environment; demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies; demonstrated broad knowledge of current enabling technologies.

Job summary: 

?Sales support

o  Onsite customer visits (B & C level)

o  Communicating SARCOM value proposition and Practice Model

o  High level overview of SARCOM history and industry focus

o  Assisting Sales with identifying opportunities and mapping them to Services

offerings from our core competencies

o  Maximizing revenue potential by maximizing services offering opportunities 

to customers

 

?Understand the SARCOM processes and tools to better manage Practice engagements and governance with the local management

 

?Local Market Vendor/Partner Management

o  Assist with Branch/Partner initiatives and technology events

 

?Liaison between Practice Directors and Branch Leadership to ensure the ?rules of engagement? are followed

o  Training for ESM and Sales on core competencies and specific Services offerings

o  Monitoring of Practice Portals for accuracy on Pipeline and Engagement activity

o  1st Level Escalation contact for Practice issue resolution

 

? Maintain a consistently high degree of responsiveness to requests from SARCOM sales and services personnel for assistance in driving new service business

? Maintain high-level familiarity with current solution technologies, architectures, and engagement patterns across all SARCOM service practices

? Maintain a high degree of professionalism around customer engagement practices

? Maintain and develop close working relationships with Vendor Partners in their respective Market areas.
