Technical Specialist - Information Technology

MTC Technologies, Inc. (MTC) provides a wide range of sophisticated system engineering, intelligence, information technology and program management solutions, primarily to the Department of Defense and various intelligence agencies.

The applicant selected will be tasked to provide information technology user-level support for the Product Manager, Petroleum and Water Systems. He or she will be familiar with Microsoft Active Directory and have basic knowledge of networking concepts and hardware. The individual selected will be proficient in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and use of PCs, laptops, and common office applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project, etc). The individual shall be capable of diagnosing and resolving issues that arise during installation and use of these common hardware devices and software applications. He or she must be able to instruct and assist the users in the use of such applications and have good written and oral communication skills'development of user training documentation may be required. He or she should be knowledgeable of emerging IT technologies such as personal electronic devices, and wireless.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3-5 years IT experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
