Position: Technical Support Analyst Sr.

Reports To: Manager, Global Technology

Location: Mocksville, North Carolina

CONTRACT TO HIRE

Principal Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting IT problems at server, network and desktop level daily
Monitoring server and network reliability and performance
Dealing with high-level technical issues as needed and responding to emergencies 24/7
Coordinating and planning IT tasks and initiatives with manager and internal customers
Support the configuration and operation of local network infrastructure
Assist in the planning, development, testing and deployment of local IT initiatives
Refresh servers, desktops and laptop hardware when leases expire Active Directory, Windows 2000, 2003 and XP administration and troubleshooting
Manage Local Area Networking, Wide Area Networking Cisco network switches, routers, TCP/IP, DNS
Experience with. Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes and VPN/remote access troubleshooting, network security and anti virus, network printing and troubleshooting.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

Minimum of 5-10 years progressive experience in a lead Technical support role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong Interpersonal skills
Solid hands on experience working with TCP/IP networking and wireless networks
Ability to be an expert problem solver
Work under pressure and prioritize and manage workload.
Ability to complete assigned activities as well as meet project milestones.
Ability to multi-task in a highly technical fast

Formal Education Requirement:

BS in Computer Science Required
MCSE certification required
ITIL Certication a plus
