Technical Systems Finance Analyst/Consultant

Responsibilities of this position include configuring processes within R/3 (FI, A/R, A/P, Asset Management, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting & Product Costing) on schedule. Acting as the effective interface between IT functions and business users by communicating requirements, status and issues. Maintaining consistency of the FI/CO configuration across all business units globally. End user support for all issues pertaining to Finance and Controlling Modules. Developing and retaining relevant SAP skills ? including participating in user groups, training, conferences and professional associations

Skills and experience which qualified candidates will possess include a minimum of 3 years experience deploying FI/CO solutions. Strong understanding and experience implementing accounting principles and practices in the SAP environment including legal and management reporting, budgeting, A/P, A/R, Banking, Assets. Strong preference for candidates that can demonstrate experience in building management reporting solutions in SAP-BW. Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies and Experience with user exits, substitutions, security. Functional ABAP skills highly valued ? ability to debug code, investigate user exits, write substitutions. Preference for candidates with international SAP project experience.
