Technical Writer (Secret Clearance)

Modis is one of the world's largest and most respected providers of Information Technology Resource Management (ITRM) services and solutions.  Today, Modis delivers world-class ITRM solutions to over 2,000 clients in the United States, Canada, and Europe.  Currently we are looking for a Technical Writer to work for one of our clients in Landover, MD.  This position is a Direct Hire opportunity.  Salary is based on experience, but the expected range is $50-60K+ full benefits.  The job description is as follows:

 

All candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance and a Bachelor's Degree.


-Responsible for documenting systems and reviewing processes

-Responsible for creating/updating System Admin and User Guides

-Proficiency in MS Project preferred

-May be asked to assist in hands on technical work when needed (Windows 2000, Active Directory, TCP/IP) 

-Must work closely with Titan PM and MC4 IA Officer to assure most current security documentation

-Configuration Management background preferred

-6 years experience in IT 

-May require some nights and weekends

-Must be able to integrate into a team and have the ability to quickly change direction
