Technology Candidate Generation Specialist

We are looking for a Specialist to join our team of star associates in Lansing. This is an entry-level position is responsible for the proactive identification and pre-qualification of candidates. This position will explore the market, identify and qualify candidates in their assigned function by engaging in sourcing activities to include, but not be limited to: market research (i.e., job fairs, job boards, and so forth), identifying candidate sources, cold calling, recruiting calls, attending seminars and networking events. The right candidate will determine and implement appropriate recruiting techniques for market, industry, skill set and region. This position will also be responsible for qualifying candidates by conducting telephone mini interviews to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.

To be considered, you should have a background in Technology and Manufacturing Engineering; a Bachelor's degree and six-months of sales, telemarketing, research or Web research experience is preferred but is not required. We are also looking for candidates with experience in Unisys LINC migration to Java as well as Visual Basic.
