Job Description - Technical Architecture Manager

 

Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business. Technology Architecture professionals have a primary skill focus on translating a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution.  Custom Solutions Architecture professionals are skilled in highly prescriptive delivery approaches and methods, and the supporting development and run-time environments required to design, build and deploy custom application solutions. These solutions are on J2EE or .NET platforms, and they leverage architecture frameworks like Accenture's ADS.J (Accenture Delivery Suite for Java) and Microsoft's EntLib (Enterprise Library for .NET). Our architects deliver high-volume, mission critical technical business solutions. They also assist our clients' IT organizations with enterprise-wide architecture and development.

 

Key responsibilities may include:


? Implementation of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and web-based application architecture frameworks
? Supervising and managing one or more technology teams simultaneously
? Designing and constructing robust technology solutions, adhering to our clients' functional requirements and technical requirements
? Performing technology architecture and infrastructure high and low-level designs
? Collaborating with peers on refining and enhancing architecture and frameworks based on personal experience
? Troubleshooting, debugging, and solving technology integration and performance problems

 

Qualifications

 

? Minimum 10 years IT experience overall
? Minimum 6 years programming experience using object-oriented languages such as Java, C++, or C#
? Minimum 4 years leadership and management experience of technical teams
? Minimum 3 years experience with J2EE or .NET architectures
? Skills in SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) design and development
? Experience in performance testing and analysis
? Knowledge of agile programming and development methodologies
? Ability to travel 100%
? Bachelor's or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a technical Science, or equivalent from an accredited university.
