Technology Manager 3

Job Description: This position is located at the Customer Service Sales and Operations division offices in San Francisco, CA. The reporting manager is charged with leading a highly-effective team of five database analysts and developers tasked with producing and delivering daily, weekly and monthly call center reports. Responsibilities include managing all phases of the reporting development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation as well as ongoing 7x24 operational support for the production environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical skills, establish and maintain effective communication with the call center management team, have a keen analytical sense, be very detail oriented, and have the ability to troubleshoot complex reports with multiple data sources. Develops and administers budget


Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years managing a team ? Minimum of 3 years in-depth, hands-on experience developing and maintaining web-based reporting solutions utilizing MS SQL database ? Proven track record managing medium to large development initiatives and delivering quality results and services in a timely manner within budget ? Must be a strong team player and be able to work as an individual contributor as well ? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively guide and mentor the team to achieve consistent high quality results ? Must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment ? Must be flexible, have a bias for action and possess a ?take charge? attitude ? Experience designing, testing, and automating ETL processes to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata so it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store ? Experience with the following technologies: SQL, DTS, ETL, HTML, IIS & ASP, ? Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions ? Must be willing to work in San Francisco, CA and travel occasionally.


Preferred Skills: Prior experience working with the Genesys reporting solution, building and managing data warehouses, relational and dimensional data modeling, database design, Business Objects, Analysis Services (OLAP), and logical and physical data model design.
