Technology Manager

We are seeking an effective, driven Information Technology Manager who will report directly to the CFO.

 

Position Description:

Provides support for hardware and software requirements for over 300 employees.  Will supervise a professional IT employee and work closely with ERP Manager to coordinate and optimize systems interfaces.  Involves coordination among multiple sites.  Position reports to CFO.  Serve as project lead for new technical initiatives.

 

Experience and Job Requirements:

General Requirements and ResponsibilitiesMinimum 7 years experience as an Information Technology professional Minimum 2 years of supervisionResponsible for Lotus Notes applications design and maintenanceResponsible for backup systems and disaster recovery planningResponsible for desktop, laptop, copier, scanner, and other business hardwareResponsible for network configuration and securityResponsible for all related software applications (except ERP and Engineering/CAD)

 

Server and Software ExperienceWindows Server 2000 and 2003 Microsoft Office ApplicationsLotus Notes and Lotus Notes Database applications and design

 

Desktop/Remote Access ExperienceLotus Notes communication systems, configuration and support Multi-vendor software installation and supportWindows XP installation and support PC imaging and hardware supportWireless networking design/securityLaptop configuration

 

Technology Management & PlanningPrioritize and manage tasks to ensure users are optimizedStrategic orientation required ensuring future needs are plannedMust balance and meet project deadlines and ad hoc support requirementsNew employee orientation/setupsEvaluate new products to improve processes and solve issuesContribute to annual budgeting process forecasting company-wide requirements

 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in CS, MIS, Engineering, or Business Administration)
