Technology Position

ESB is seeking a highly motivated IT professional to join their Systems Department. The successful candidate will assume the role of supporting applications, servers and users in a Windows Server 2003 and MS SQL environment.  Active participation in design, installation and implementation of technologies related to servers and networks is a key component of this position.

 

Duties include support for a wide variety of complex applications, answering and resolving help desk calls, logging calls into a tracking database, web site and intranet updates, software upgrades and maintenance, support for network and Windows 2003 Server administration and PC troubleshooting, email monitoring, activity report review, product maintenance and changes, product testing, creation of test scripts, report writing which includes examining and evaluating requirements for various business units and extensive documentation of procedures and projects.

Qualifications

3-5 years experience working in a systems environment. Project management, organization and documentation skills required for successfully managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Customer service skills are essential. Experience with Windows Server 2003, SQL database servers, Active Directory, Cisco Routers, Ethernet Switches, Windows XP, Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, MS Office products, Dreamweaver, HTML and/or PHP. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks, communication equipment and telecommunications a plus.

On call hours, some evenings and weekends required as needed, average daily lifting 10-20 lbs., bending, reaching and crawling into small spaces in order to service computer equipment is also required.
