Technology Services Consultant

The Technology Services Consultant owns the post sales relationship with selected clients and is responsible for ensuring client retention and success.  Frequent communication with each client is essential, including regular site visits. Assist clients in meeting strategic business objectives by identifying the necessary network infrastructure and system management strategies.  This includes the successful delivery of our product service model.

 

General Purpose and Summary:

 Lead account kickoff team during the initial installation of an out-sourced IT infrastructure solution (to include requirements assessment, solution delivery planning, and implementation).On an on-going basis, work with customer decision makers to promote the customer?s overall satisfaction with mindSHIFT services.  Assess customers IT requirements and offer products, services, and consulting projects as appropriate. Technology review, guidance, budgeting.Serve as technical resource to customer decision makers.  Coordinate between customer?s business and technical points-of-contact and mindSHIFT specialists (e.g., application engineers, network engineers) to identify specific customer requirements, establish project scope, and ensure effective implementation.Internal advocate ensuring the overall quality of the customer experience.Tracking product?s technical performance maintenance.Local travel is required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Understanding of LAN/WAN networking in a Windows 2000/2003 Server and Windows 2000/XP Professional environment.Understanding of Microsoft Exchange messaging environement.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.Ability to work with and manage tight deadlines.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Customer relationship management background.Strong leadership/consensus building skills.Strong deductive and analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Project management and/or customer relationship management experience within an information technology or consulting environment.  Knowledge of information technology, application design and development, and/or local area networks.
