Technology Support Specialist

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The successful individual will be self-starter, quick learner, capable of multi tasking and will be able to work under minimal supervision. In order to excel in this environment, you  must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.

Good understanding of Local Area and Wide Area Network operations required.

Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and XP experience are required.

Education and experience with Microsoft Access development required.

 

Minimum 2 years past experience working in a Technology related environment.

 

 

Experience with e-collaboration web solution software and/or active directory concepts (i.e. MS Share Point) a plus.

Experience with SQL considered a plus.

 

 Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides end-user hardware and/or software support and training when required.Help Desk support to answer technical network and web based application support setup and navigation issues.Handling incoming calls and e-mails from customers.Ability to provide excellent customer service.Ability to present technical information to non-technical customers.

 

Some travel required.
