Technology Trainer/Instructional Designer

Walsworth Publishing Company, a printer of yearbooks and commercial work, is seeking a Technology Trainer/Instructional Designer.  Although Walsworth is headquartered in Marceline, MO this position will be based out of our Kansas City, MO office.

 

The successful candidate must be able to create and deliver training programs on Walsworth?s desktop technology Enhancements and related software to sales representatives and customers and will be required to keep documents current as software is enhanced.  The successful candidate must be able to design and develop innovative technology solutions for product and process training; develop and update written training curriculum as assigned; conduct and participate in needs analysis studies and assist with long-range planning for incorporating alternative training approaches into the curriculum.

 

Candidate must have a bachelor?s degree in Education, instructional design or Management Information Technology or equivalent.  Knowledge of Adobe software and e-learning system preferred.  Four plus years of hands-on training and curriculum development, preferably technical software training, with a solid learning and development background, including instructional design of classroom-based and adult learning. Professionalism, confidentiality, initiative and sound judgment are essential.  Must be a flexible team player with the ability to prioritize multi-tasks under pressure.
