Telecommunication Software/System Support Engineer

Client located in Gaithersburg MD seeks a Telecommunication System Engineer for Full Time Employment.  The salary range is $80-100K depending on Experience.

 

Client will transfer H-1 Visa's if candidate MEETS ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS AND HAS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS

 

As an expert on our software products and our customer?s needs, the System Engineer (SE) will be called upon to install our software at customer locations, trouble shoot issues, conduct system demonstrations, define customer implementation requirements, represent customer requirements to the development group, and support the sales initiatives.

 

The SE will also develop custom software solutions and integration configurations for our clients.  As such candidates must posses:

 
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Must Have Experience in the telecommunications industry  
Object Oriented software development experience
2 years in JAVA
Complex system/Software support
Experience with Weblogic
3 years experience in Oracle, developing Stored Procedures via PLSQL, and Data Modeling. 
2 years experience managing distributed systems in a UNIX or WinNT environment. 
Experience in Connect Direct (NDM) and production support operations are a plus.
Strong inter-personal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Trouble shooting and problem solving skills are a must.  
Some (limited) travel is required.
