Job Overview:

1. Design, build and implement local and enterprise-wide call center and Telephony solutions and interfaces. This includes convergence of voice and data technologies and integration with legacy systems.
2. Troubleshooting of Telephony related problems including VOIP, Call Center and Legacy system integration issues and to see them to their resolution.

3. Interface on regular basis with Business units/customer to ensure quick problem resolution and to convert their needs into technical solutions.

4. Develop and Maintain the Documentation for Telephony/Call center architecture, call flow design drawings, installation procedures and other related information.

5. Ensure all the Telephony related customer reporting is fully operational and provide support incase of problems.

6. Conceptualize, Define, Evaluate, Test, and recommend new telephony and Call Center technologies.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or experience in related field. Certification in Cisco?s IP Telephony Solutions required. Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification required. 5+ years experience in Voice and Data Networking technologies. 3+ years experience in network performance, scalability, security, reliability and fault tolerance. Knowledge of industry standards and practices related to Telephony in general and VOIP in particular. Expert troubleshooting skills and experience with a large (1000+ phones) environment. Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
