Temporary CDO Analyst (Part-Time)


 


Reuters Loan Pricing Corporation, the premier provider of commercial loan market news, data and analytics for the credit markets worldwide, is hiring part-time analysts to join our Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) Group in New York.  The group is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of Reuters LPC’s recently launched database product for the rapidly growing global CDO market.


 


Responsibilities will focus on helping build out our data coverage and accuracy through data extracts. The positions provide opportunities to learn about structured finance, various debt-related asset classes, deal structures, data management, and database building in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment.


 


The ideal candidates will:


•  have knowledge of Excel and Access


•  have knowledge of financial instruments and markets


•  strong desire to learn about structured finance


•  be detail-oriented and able to work independently


•  have a professional work ethic


•  recent graduate or enrolled student majoring in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial  Engineering, Management Information Systems


 


This opportunity is available from August through February. Candidates must be able to contribute at least 20 hours per week. The potential for a longer employment term exists, but is not guaranteed.
