Client in western suburb seeking Teradata Developer for 4+ month contract engagement.

Thorough understanding of the NCR-Teradata System Architecture. Strong experience with Teradata SQL and Teradata Utilities (ETL Data Migration Tools). Ability to write, troubleshoot and debug programs based on Teradata SQL and Tools. Good time management skills in coding, testing, and implementing complex programs. Support and troubleshoot production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving production problems and providing timely follow-up on problem reports. Works well within a team environment as well as individually. Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing user requirements. Ability to follow corporate standards with respect to tools and processes.

The developer must be able to take high-level requirements and translate them into functional specifications, then programs.
