Territory Technology Specialist

This position is responsible for providing pre-sales and sales technical support as well as post sales customer implementation service to OfficeMax Digital Express customers.   The Territory Technical Specialist serves as a technical resource for growing existing customer revenue, acquiring new customers and providing OfficeMax Document Express application support to stores.


 
Position Responsibilities 


Increase the knowledge, revenue, & usage of OfficeMax Document Express (ODE) or other online applications.

Provide technical support to stores, including the ability to support the PDS network & printing environment. Provide technical training as it relates to current and future releases of ODE & other OfficeMax online print applications.

Qualify customers for ODE business based on expected sales volume and technical requirements.

Develop, revise and implement target customer strategy through interaction with the territory team and Manager, Digital Services based on territory needs.

Increase number of customers utilizing the online application who maintain sales volume above the minimum expected sales levels.

Attend commercial sales calls as the subject matter expert in order to close potential digital accounts or provide deeper penetration into accounts not currently utilizing our digital capabilities.

Present technical capabilities to customers in conjunction with the sales team and provide direct, ongoing technical support to the customers.  Provide remote technical support to customers as needed.

Interact with customers and PDS Operations management to coordinate implementation of digital capabilities with ODE customers.

Coordinate with the sales team to provide customer specific training to impacted locations for each ODE customer.

Participate in technical training as needed to remain current on all OfficeMax systems and likely customer operating systems.

Monitor sales volume by customer through ODE.

High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred. 
Some ecommerce background preferred. 
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers and team. 
Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation, instruction, persuasion and/or speaking with others. 
 Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints and to perform to the expectations established by the company for sales performance and profit objectives. 
Able to work independently and to travel at least 40% of the time.
