Purpose of Position:

Conducts quality assurance activities to ensure that PHCS IST software products meet specified business workflows.

Essential Functions:

Work with a Senior UA Analyst or UAT Manager to develop user acceptance test scenarios and test cases by reviewing business workflows and planned functionality, as appropriate.

Develop detailed tests and scripts consistent with established PHCS and industry standards.

Thoroughly learn business applications and associated business workflows, as appropriate.

Conduct user acceptance testing of PHCS software in accordance with related project and company standards.

Analyze test results to determine actual vs. expected results and determine success or failure, working with project team members, as appropriate.

Document all test results. All unexpected results are documented in Test Director. Provide feedback on unexpected results to Sr. UA Analyst or UAT Manager, as required.

Prepare full test results reports, and review with Sr. UA Analyst or UAT Manager, as required.

Qualifications:

A.S. Degree

3+ years IT experience working with software.

This includes 2+ years performing quality assurance on application software.

Proficiency with PC based software, such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases, with project management software.

Experience with automated test tools (Winrunner, Test Director) a plus!

Effective communications skills, report writing skills, ability to operate in a change environment, ability to operate as a member of a team.

Ability to thoroughly understand business workflows within a business context.
