Test Engineer

Computer Resource Team is currently looking for multiple Test Engineers interested in 6 month + contract opportunities in Richmond, VA.

 

Responsibilities:

Creation and execution of deficiency testing on software which facilitates an IP network based Unified Communications (UC) service application that uses multiple service hardware and software components (Solaris, UNIX, Linux, LDAP, IMAP, ASR, TTS, FAX, Web, VXML, HTML).

 

Qualifications

 

Technical Experience/Requirements:
? Test process knowledge and at 2-5 years experience and track record in service software testing (software problem identification and resolution).
? Unix and Linux and/or shell programming experience
? PC Web application testing experience
? Telephony application Testing Experience
? Integration expertise with multiple server environments
? Automated testing tool experience (Astra Quick Test, or WinRunner)
? Familiarity/expertise in use  and maintenance of Mercury Test Director
? Good verbal and written communication skills

The following experience is a plus, but not required:

Experience in service system and network components:
? Cisco/F5 Network device configuration and management
? Network protocols and systems (TCP/IP, UDP)
? IVR applications
? Video/Voice streaming protocols (H323/H324, SIP)
? Unified Messaging Systems
? Unix and NT administration
? C/C++ Programming in a Unix environment


 

Education Requirements:
? BS/MS in Computer Science and/or Networking or Telecommunications Systems or equivalent experience
